In this interactive session, we will uncover the impacts of redlining in the Dayton area by comparing two schools from adjacent districts and the far-reaching effects of historical policy on local schools today. Participants will be informally and anonymously surveyed about the ideas shared using online polling software and word cloud generators. We will offer community-based solutions and resources for getting involved in redressing our local legacy of racial discrimination in housing and education.
