Overview of Mental Health First Aid from the ADAMHS Board. ADAMHS will be providing the full 8 hour training later in the term so come see if you might benefit from learning the newest techniques to handle a "mental health emergency" in or out of the classroom.
2:15 - 3:15 PM, Mental Health in the Classroom
Information about mental health diagnoses and how students may present in the classroom. Discussion on strategies for helping students struggling with mental health symptoms. Resources on and off campus will be provided. Time will be available for questions.
