Participants will watch the video in advance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qu2Yd3g-6Pk&feature=youtu.be and then come prepared to talk about how a culture of caring relates to our work to ensure that age, race, gender, income and other demographics are no longer predictive of student success.
This powerful video will launch a discussion of how culture influences equity in student outcomes. We will examine lessons learned from Amarillo College’s experience, which could influence Sinclair’s focus on creating a culture of caring that supports equitable student outcomes.
Participants will articulate their own contribution to a culture that promotes caring in the age of COVID and will help shape the future of our culture-building practices in a post-COVID world.
