Learning Self Care Through Active Practice

PREREQUISITE: A desire to actively participate in hands on learning - an open mind - a willingness to creatively sooth and quiet the mind and body.

Culturally inclusive holistic techniques will be presented that can be used by students and staff to reduce anxiety and stress, support a healthy immune system and encourage general well-being. These techniques are easy to learn and incorporate into our daily lives. The following self care models will be taught: Tapping, Acupressure (Qi theory), Aromatherapy.
