This training will provide ways to help reduce barriers and increase learning access for all online students. Topics will include how to use the Productivity Ribbon and Accessibility Checker in Word and eLearn, practice with Templates & Styles, and the creation of accessible charts, tables, photos and hyperlinks.
Why is this important? Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 mandates digital accessibility for all students. Come ‘see’ and ‘hear’ a course using a screen reader to get a feel for how a student with a disability navigates online course content.
