In this one hour session, you are invited to be guided by certified Yoga and meditation teacher, Prof. Amanda Hayden, through a traditional Yogic Deep Relaxation (Nidra). This session utilizes sound meditation, guided breathwork, full body relaxation, pratyahara (withdrawal of senses) and mindful observation of breath, body and mind.

We will use the whole of the hour to fully surrender into deep relaxation in order to maximize the benefits for stress reduction.

Full-time employees attending this class are eligible to earn up to 1 wellness point (“Attend Mind/Body Class” category) in the LIVEWELL@Sinclair Health Activity Tracker. For automatic attendance submission, a full-time employee must be identifiable at the beginning of the class by the class facilitator (e.g. full name must appear on screen during Zoom meeting).
