Predicting the Need for Coaching and Other Initiatives

RAR, in collaboration with Academic Advising, examined students’ historical records to identify a set of characteristics that find students who would benefit from additional academic supports. These characteristics are then used to proactively direct incoming students who exhibit similar characteristics to an academic coach (as opposed to an advisor) when they enter Sinclair. Other RAR initiatives that are under development will be also discussed.
