W-1p - Incomplete: A Conversation About the I Grade

Each academic year, over a thousand incomplete grades are awarded to students. On average about 40% of the students pass their incomplete. A Retention by Design subcommittee has led an investigation into the outcome data of incompletes. In this session we will review the data of incomplete grades, learn about existing campus efforts, and begin a conversation about how to move the needle for incompletes to improve retention and completion among this population of students.
